Celebs headed to the iconic brand’s lately renovated Rodeo Drive retailer Wednesday evening to rejoice the anniversary of Salvatore Ferragamo’s arrival in town of Angels.
Celebrating 100 years since Salvatore Ferragamo himself landed in Los Angeles to make shoes for actresses like Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Rita Hayworth, the brand’s Rodeo Drive retailer opened its doors on Wednesday night with a star-laden cocktail occasion. Highlighting a whole retailer overhaul pioneered by architect William Sofield, the situation now showcases men’s and women’s prepared-to-wear, shoes and luggage ensconced in luxurious salons, providing plenty of privacy for A-checklist buyers.

Demi Moore (with daughters Tallulah and Scout Willis in tow), Freida Pinto, Camilla Belle, Kiernan Shipka, Angela Lindvall and Cody Horn have been only a few of the stars who stopped by to present their congratulations to leather-based product director James Ferragamo, inventive director Massimiliano Giornetti, CEO Michele Norsa and Fulvia Ferragamo.
James summed up the night: “For us, Hollywood is the place it all started. It was essential for my grandfather to create unique sneakers for movies and celebrities who became his shoppers. This is the perfect location to create one thing totally different than all the opposite shops. We really curated all the completely different detailing and materials just like the wooden and marble.
